www.PulltiteSpring.comwww.Current-River.comOn weekdays in the summer (Sunday-Friday), here are the times they take up from Pultite. There may be different times for Saturdays (call). I avoid Saturday's like the plague due to the large crowds. Saturday's are the only day you need a reservation in the Summer. If you can, try floating mid-week Tuesday or Wednesday to avoid the crowds during the Summer. Cedar Grove: 8:30am only This is a very nice 18 mile float than generally lasts 6-8 hours. You will pass Medlock Spring, Welch Spring and Cave Spring on this stretch. Akers Ferry: 8:30am, 10:30am and 12:30pm This is a very nice 11 mile float that generally lasts from 4- 6 hours. I prefer to put in at 10:30am on this float and end around dinner time with all of the frequent stops that we make. You will pass beautiful Cave Spring on this stretch where you can float your canoe into. Leave your car at Pultite and let them take you upstream to float back down to your vehicle. It'll be right there within walking distance of the river when you arrive back downstream.
