I read a lot of reviews about this place before we went this past weekend (7/23/2010) and I am not one to complain or write reviews but this is for those of you like me. I'm naturally an optimistic person and make the best out of anything. If you stay in the upper sections the sites seemed to be pretty clean. The pool was a milk jug full of sticks, grass and god knows what. The bathrooms were ridiculous and probably only get cleaned about once a week, also half of the toilets either were stopped up or didn't flush in the first place. Our group stayed in the lower section at the bottom and the roads to our site were not gravel but rock, bouncing all over the place in a Chevy Malibu up and down steep hills going 2mph was not a treat. The staff seemed nice and informative but kinda clueless or careless as to how their campground looked or performed. The people were the average party crowd and there we no disturbances really but the float part was definitely the only part any of us really enjoyed all weekend. That and the trip home. It's definitely the last place we'll even think of visiting again and please understand that people don't go out of their way to take the time to write a review if they don't strongly have an opinion, especially a bad one.
