We went for a camping/float trip over the weekend, things didn't turn out so great. We had reservations at Jason Campground, when we arrived, they sent us to the wrong campsite. It actually had a tree fell down over the picnic table, it was down at the bottom of a large hill that we almost tore our van up trying to get back up. (the road was terrible). Went back to the office and they sent us to a new site, which already had campers on it. So it was almost 2 am so I just pitched my tent right behind their office building and went to sleep. Got up at 6am because we had to pack everything up (wasn't going to stay at that place another night) and our float trip with Akers started at 8:30am. We were all packed and ready and of course Akers forgot us! Don't really understand how they could forget a group of 10 people but they did. We finally got on the River about 10:30am for a 10 hour float. Then they had the nerve to ask us to carry our tubes up the hill to the office! We will be back to float the Current River again, But never to those places!!!
