Flower Pot Lights and Lamps (as seen at Montauk)

This past weekend I had some bikers stop at our campsite at Montauk State Park telling me about some unique lights that an RV camper had a few loops over from ours. They had a string of lights hanging from their awning of their RV of which the shades were made out of pottery (or so it looked). They also had an electric pole coming out of a socket box pinned to the picnic table and at the top of that pole was a match (LARGER) light with a piece of pottery as a shade (or so it looked). I'm still searching online for how to make those, but in the meantime, I did happen up some resource links.
