:)Having been on lots of multi day trips, our boats are pretty well loaded down. Usually, we draw some comments from the guy dropping us off about the volume of gear we have. We have always made it a challenge to load everything in as thoguh we are lweis and clark. With occaisional hikes up to reprovision ice and call our women.
TIP: if you find your calves getting knarled or just hurting from rubbing on the gunwales, get some foam pipe insulation. It has a slit on one side and is intended to slip over hot water pipes near your water heater. It comes in many lenghts, but generally 1/2" internal diameter stuff works great. Cut it in 2-3 foot lengths and it will firmly mount on the gunwales.
It sounds funny, but after a few days off being in the boat for 6-8 hours, you'll be glad you tried it.
