Just up river from Welch Spring (<1 mile or so), there are some low bluffs that locals and floaters frequently jump off of into a deep hole. There is a road that leads down to this area, but I've always accessed if by floating down river from Cedar Grove. The low bluffs are on the left side of the river as you float down river between Medlock Spring and Welch Spring. This is a landmark that lets me know that I'm getting close to Welch Spring. It's always a must stop at point for me! Even if you don't want to jump from the bluff, there's a nice big gravel bar next to it and a small one across from it that allows one to take a quick dip in this nice deep hole. Steve UPDATE: Here's a picture of the location (Bluff on right). Also, see this photo set of jumpers here.
