I have spent 27 years camping at Jack Forks campground, I seen the best and the worst of what mother nature can do to this wonderful campground. I don't care that there are now porta potty johns, due to the floods taking your work in progress and you already existing structures for bathing and bathroom use. We did a long weekend June 30-July 2. we had yet another year of being blessed with Jack Forks family, we feel like we are part of your ever growing family. Although mother nature has sprung another rath on you folks, we find you are still humble and loving and always there for anything that is needed. I will never primitive camp at another location while enjoying the current river. Jack Forks family, Gene, Cassy and all the other hard working people are often in our thoughts and always in our prayers.
My children grew up camping here at Jacks and are bringing their children to experience the current river. After 27 years, this is the only primitive camp, camper camp I would ever recommend to anyone that asks. Love the people and love the scenery and playing on the river at your banks. I will be back 2 more times this year and God willing a few times next year.
To see the devastation that your family and our campgrounds have been through the last couple years with the floods is truly heartbreaking, Stay strong guys and give it to the lord, he knows we will always return. LOVE my Jacks family.
